Phase Four: South

For the final stretch of our journey, we journeyed along Hadrian's Wall and up to the first town on the western Scottish border (the northern-most point on our trip), and then back through Carlisle and south towards home. This part of the journey also included our highest climb; the treacherous 'Snake Pass' road over the Peak District, between Manchester and Sheffield.
